LochNess360 - LN 360/180 routes & maps

LN 360 Route: 120 km, max height 39, min height 0m, total ascent 2900m Starting at the Bught Park the Loch Ness 360 follows the Dores road south from the city. As it passes Torbreck the route leaves the road to follow the Caledonian Canal and River Ness to the head of Loch Ness at Tor Point. The B852 is followed for a short stretch prior to entering Erchite Wood where a variety of tracks and gradients are tackled en-route Foyers. A long cross country stretch ends at Whitebridge where the road is joined once again for a long downhill section to the half-way mark at Fort Augustus. From Fort Augustus the Great Glen Way is followed to Inverness. This 35 mile section , almost entirely off-road, follows the way-marked trail with its numerous climbs and descents offering outstanding views of Loch Ness and the surrounding countryside. Finally the route descends sharply from Dunain Hill to end at the Highland Rugby Clubhouse at Bught Park. LN 180 Route: The LN 180 starts at Fort Augustus and follows the Great Glen way, through Invermoriston and Drumnadrochit, to Inverness. Transport will be provided to carry you and your bike to the start point in Fort Augustus and you'll finish with the LN 360 riders at the rugby clubhouse.
